The Virginia-Highland Business Association (VHBA) is a dynamic collaboration of businesses within the Virginia-Highland neighborhood.
Our mission is to promote, represent, and support neighborhood businesses by creating a foundation for them to thrive, starting with the North Highland artery and working out from there. If your business is located within our neighborhood boundaries of Briarcliff Road to the east, the Beltline to the west, Amsterdam Avenue to the north, and Ponce Leon Avenue to the south, you are welcome to join.
Benefits to joining VHBA
- Marketing: Allows your business to expand your marketing visibility by utilizing the marketing tools and activities offered by the association including a link to the new updated VHBA website, virginiahighland.com, with interactive maps, mobile functionality, e-newsletter, events, holiday decorating, streetscapes, PR, and more.
- Governmental Clout: The VHBA provides a vehicle to give VAHI businesses a cohesive, unified voice to City, State, and other governmental bodies on issues that affect the viability and sustainability of our local businesses. Our governmental affairs committee is engaged and represents our businesses on many issues that affect our community including parking issues, licensing, business tax issues and more; and thus assures our businesses that we are on a level playing field with other neighborhoods in Atlanta.
- Networking: Enables your business to tap into an experienced network of other businesses and share information and advice on common issues that are relevant to your success.
- Increased Customer Base: Atlanta neighborhoods tend to support their local businesses with a ferocious desire to see them succeed and expand their standing in the community. No other neighborhood is as loyal to their local businesses as Virginia-Highland. As a member of VHBA you will raise your visibility with Atlanta’s favorite in-town neighborhood.
